To Griffin

It was a fun trip to Griffin...Mercer's center there...functional set of portables. I went down with Judith and came back with Jeremy, Jamene, and Sally. It was a long meeting a full table about Copyright. Judith went over what she had learned from the Solinet workshop...again...and we talked at lenght...but in the end the point seemed to be more to get a speaker in the fall, meet again, and start a listserv...rather than do something concrete.

It seems to me simple

New signs or stamps...literal or on the ereserves...

photocopier photocopies we send physically or by Ariel (interlibrary loan) on ereserves then a simple FAQ about primarily journal articles or book chapters....and print stuff....what can and what cannot go on reserve.

Lunch at a special Chickfillet with classic cards parked outside for sale and wonderful turn of the century decor inside...Jeremy grew up around there..in fact it turns out he was in the first graduating class at Lovejoy High School...was able to tell us about it...

Spent the afternoon and early evening more work on the survey.

TV.... evening PBS news and financial stuff...before I fell asleep. Had had a somewhat unsatisfying dinner at theChinese place downstairs. Charlene Hunter-Gault...back being interviewed about Africa...Nice to see her...
