LOUISA CATHERINE JOHNSON ADAMS #1009 is the ninth doll in the series of FIRST LADIES by SUZANNE GIBSON & the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION by REEVES INTERNATIONAL. This lovely 12" vinyl doll is from the SIGNATURE COLLECTION from 1987 and is signed on the tag that is sewn into the dress by the artist. All of the dolls of the first ladies of the American presidents are dressed in gowns which were based on the Collection of Dresses of the First Ladies in the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian.
