Description

Antique cloth doll from Andalucia, Spain. I bought her back in the 70s at a doll show because she was from Spain. She is dressed to go out and harvest oranges or olives. Notice embroidered apron and old lace. Her old muslin petticoat barely peaks out from under the cotton skirt. Black vinyl boots carefully lace up over ankles. A thick, luxurious single braid hangs down back to her waist. No jewelry but look at the eye shadow. Spanish doll makers liked large busts and teensy waists. Legs are pretty hefty also and they almost always put underpants on them. Doll stand not included. No spots, stains, rips or tears. 11 1/2" tall. Excellent, old ethnic doll. 3.50 domestic s/h and thanks for looking.
