"Detour through All Angels" St.Elizabeth's ,lovely as ever.
The St.Mary's, St.Andrew's, SMA alumni weekend this year was a lot of fun. My daughter Eden and I went up together and stayed at retreat house on the St. Mary's property. Just like roommates. We had Communion with the sisters Saturday morning, then went to the ceremony at the St. Andrew's Chapel to get our medallions. There was a lunch, and then a tea for St. Mary's alumni. How wonderful to meet a student from a class 10 years before me who is now a profesional clown. It was also terrific getting to see friends, not only from my own class but those ahead and behind. We went out to a table after the tea just to talk and talk and talk about old friends. Supper at SMA in what is now the Sewannee Theological Building, and then at the Sewanee Inn dance, refreshments, and more time to talk. I am now already looking forward to next year.
The cross at the entrance to St. Mary's has not changed. I have photographs taken there when we were in school. Bench overlooking the bluff
